5 Benefits of a personal brand

I’m allll about putting the personal into branding. Why? Gosh, for so many reasons but mostly because I love a good personal touch. Getting to know the person/people behind a business makes it feel so much friendlier, so much more human. There are a couple more excellent reasons and I’m sharing them below:

• The human brain is visual
  There is a reason why they say a picture is worth a thousand words, because that is how our brains are wired. We’ve used visual cues to make sense of our environment for way longer than the written word has existed.
• Positions you as an Expert
  Professional photos add another layer of trust to your brand. You are more likely to be considered an expert with consistent, on-brand images of yourself.
• Connects you to your audience
  People buy from people they know, like, and trust. The best way to get people to know you? Show them your gorgeous face! Share with them a bit about what makes you, you! The more often you do this, the more people will feel like you’re a friend with their best interests at heart (because you absolutely do), and the more they will trust you.
• Differentiates you
  There are a thousand other yoga instructors/life coaches/jewellery designers/nutritionists out there and the chances are, they probably have the same education as you, the same skill set, the same suppliers, the same equipment. So what makes you different? YOU! The only thing that nobody can ever take away from you is the unique being that you are. That, my friend, makes all the difference in an already crowded online space.
• Gives you content
  No more worrying about what image to post next on social media or your blog. You’ll have a gallery of on-brand images to choose from making life simple.
