I’ll never forget the first day Madi and Rouli met as tiny babies. @filmingliksi and I were in the postpartum/newborn bubble and finding our feet as new moms, leaning on one another for support. With just 6 weeks between them, we found so much comfort in our friendship with one another. Fast forward two years, and these two cuties are best friends, running around finding pine cones, and adventuring to the best of their abilities (making their mamas cry out of sweetness 🥹❤️)

Things I’ve learned since becoming a mom: mothering together is easier, mothering outdoors is easier, and watching your child and their first friend grow up together is the most wonderful experience ✨

2023 🦋✨ A year filled to the brim: full of jo

2023 🦋✨ A year filled to the brim: full of joy, success, adventure, and so much love. And at the same time, filled with frustration, disappointment, and loss. Isn’t it so interesting how one year can hold so much?

For starters, I began the year with an infant who was barely crawling and I’m ending it with a toddler who is having mini conversations with me on the daily. It was also my busiest year business wise - all while looking after said toddler most days. We moved home TWICE 🫣 and we traveled quite a bit - mostly for work. No wonder I’m feeling spent 😅

What I can say about 2023 is that her lessons have me thinking: what if everything is working out in my favour? Because honestly, the things that started out looking like curses ended up being the biggest blessings this year. For example, moving home twice in one year was NOT in the plan and I highly do not recommend BUT it has turned out to be the most wonderful move for our family and the timing was perfect 🙏🏻

2023 was also a year of rediscovery and reinvention. As a new mom it’s a journey you have to take if you don’t want to completely lose yourself in motherhood. It was hard, it was supported so lovingly by my people, and I’ve walked out of 2023 with such clarity on my core values. I’ve gotta say, I quite like this new version of me 🥰

All this time say: 2023, you were magic ✨ 2024, I can’t wait to see what you have in store!

Hello lovelies 🌟 It's been a while since I last shared here, and I've missed connecting with all of you. Life lately has been a beautiful whirlwind of capturing love stories, and today, I'm bringing you a little piece of my own. 💖

The first photo takes me back almost 8 years when I was a bride, brimming with dreams and excitement 🌸

Life never stops, and neither do we. The rest of the carousel is filled with life lately ...

This past weekend, we traveled to the charming Rosendal for a wedding, and we were joined by Madi, Nana, and Grandpa, making it a heartwarming family adventure. ✈️

Madi, our little sunshine, has started growing the most delightful curls in her neck (slide 9 😍)

I also took some time for self-care with a spa day, accompanied by my beautiful friend Aliki, who's not only a dear friend but also an amazing photographer 💆‍♀️

I've had the privilege of attending my best friend from high school's wedding as a guest (what a treat!), witnessed the joy of weddings, shared in the elegance of matric farewells, and celebrated new life with the arrival of beautiful babies.

Life, in all its glorious fullness, has kept me busy and grateful. 🌈

I'm excited to share more moments with you all, as we continue this journey of love, life, and photography. Stay tuned for more magic! 💫✨
